Tools available on your account

  • Deposit limits — daily, weekly and monthly caps on how much you can deposit.
  • Loss limits — daily, weekly and monthly caps on how much you can lose over a chosen period.
  • Session limits — a cap on how long you can be signed in to your account in a single session.
  • Activity statements — a 30-day summary of your stakes, returns and net position is sent automatically. You can also request a statement at any time.

Cooling-off period for limit increases

Lower limits apply immediately. Increases to any deposit limit, loss limit or session limit take 7 days to come into effect, in line with the National Consumer Protection Framework for Online Wagering. This cooling-off period is automatic and cannot be waived.

Marketing and self-exclusion

UpcShovDown does not send marketing communications to customers who are registered on BetStop or who have applied a self-exclusion through their UpcShovDown account. We also do not send marketing communications to customers who have opted out of marketing through their account settings.

Self-excluded or BetStop-registered users

If you are registered on BetStop or hold an active self-exclusion with UpcShovDown, you cannot open or use an UpcShovDown account for the period of your exclusion. Any account opened in breach of an active self-exclusion may be closed and any bets placed may be voided and stakes returned to a verified bank account in your name.

Signs that wagering may be a problem

Wagering becomes harmful when it is no longer a choice but a compulsion. Common warning signs include:

  • You bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
  • You chase losses or borrow money to keep punting.
  • You lie about how much time or money you spend on gambling.
  • You bet to escape stress, boredom or a low mood.
  • Family, work or studies suffer because of your gambling.
  • You feel anxious, irritable or restless when you are not gambling.

If any of these sound familiar, support is available. GambleAware NSW offers a confidential self-assessment at gambleaware.nsw.gov.au/help-and-support.

Support for family and friends

Gambling can affect more than the person doing it. GambleAware NSW and Gambling Help Online both provide confidential counselling and self-help materials for partners, family members and friends. You do not need to be the person gambling to seek help.

Minors

UpcShovDown.com is strictly available only to Australian residents aged 18 and over. It is an offence under Australian law to provide a wagering service to a minor. We require identity verification before any account is fully activated and we do not knowingly accept registrations or bets from people under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor in your household is attempting to access UpcShovDown, we recommend using parental-control software such as Family Zone, Net Nanny or Qustodio, and contacting support@upcshovdown.com if you believe a minor has accessed our service.
